After the judgments had been laid down, we now find ourselves at the point where Adam names his wife.

He gives her the name, Eve which means (life) She was also given the title of being, "The Mother of all Living."

Now God shows Adam and Eve more mercy by providing for them some coats of skin to hide their nakedness.

Now although the Bible doesn't say that a animal was sacrifice for the sins of Adam and Eve, we assume that this is where God got them from.

Now after giving them provision through the coats of skin, God made this announcement:

"And the Lord God said, 'Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever:

Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.'" (Genesis 3:22)

Now although they were banished from the Garden of Eden, I do believe that the land they inhabited was not all that bad. They still was able to get some type of production and value from it.

I state this because later in (Genesis 4:10-12,) you will find that after Cain had killed Abel, he too was banished from the land where his family (Adam & Eve) stayed, to a land that was considered unproductive.

"And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord. (Genesis 4:25-26)

God still used Adam and Eve to help with his over all plan to restore humanity back to it's rightful place. Adam and Eve had another child after Cain and Abel.

The name of this child was called Seth, which means (founder) Within the scripture above you will also notice, it states that after Seth, was born. He had a child named Enos, and then at that time men began to call on the name of the Lord.
