The Lord is Our Shield

Psalm 84:9-12 states: "O God, behold our shield, and look upon the face of your anointed. For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, Blessed is the man who trusts in You!"

Greetings to you wonderful family of the Most High, men and women of God, for you are the chosen generation and a royal priesthood. If you don't mind, I have a question for you: "Wouldn't you agree that this is a profound Scripture?" For it tells us, that the Lord is our Sun and Shield. He lights up for us when things are dark in our lives, and doesn't hesitate when it comes to shielding us against the arrows of the enemy.

Can you now imagine the Lord's grace and His glory, can you imagine those gifts from the Lord showing and reflecting from within us.

Wouldn't it be something if the world were able to look at us and see His glory on our lives?

And on our faces, they're able to also see God's glory and light, shining upon our countenance?

Know that when it comes to God's blessings, He will continue to pour them out onto our lives. He does this, because as long as we walk uprightly before Him, there's simply no good thing that He will withhold from us. And honestly, we just need to continue to fear and keep Him in awe. To love Him, just like He continues to love us. And if we were able to commit like this when it comes to Him, I truly believe, He will be more than willing, to do great things from within our lives. Always remember, there's nothing that's too hard for our Lord.

And if you need more convincing, there's one assurance that we have, when it comes to this area, and that assurance deals with the fact that God always honor, His Word. For you see, if a person to fully embrace that fact, then one can truly walk in boldness, when it comes to their faith in God. For they will know, that the Lord never changes not His mind, when it comes to His Word.

And because of this, it makes things a whole lot easier when it comes to trusting in the Lord, when it comes to all things. Never forget my beloved, God is always more than willing to be a blessing to us: "Blessed is the man that trusts in the Lord." I trust the Lord that you have been blessed by His Word and this Bible devotion; and that you will continue to trust and praise Him in all things.
