Exploring the subject of Biblical Numerology could perhaps, help us to find a deeper purpose and have a more targeted understanding, when it comes to learning more about this wonderful book, called the Bible. Know that this page is just a teaser and the list of numbers below, simply provides some general information that deals with the number and its brief meaning description.

Now keep in mind that the "brief meaning description" that I'm giving is based off my own personal understanding of the number.

And although the meaning of the number that I provide, falls within the consensus of opinion when it comes to this subject.

Now if you do decide to delve deeper, you'll find that this intriguing subject has a way of touching on just about every area when it comes to the studying of God's Word. Not just from a theology point of view, but leaning a lot towards divine insight that could reveal a deeper meaning when it comes to the area of biblical prophecy. Also note, that most biblical scholars rely heavy on using this type of research, when it comes to their biblical chronological studies as well.

Now, I created this page simply for the sake of curiosity. For I personally find the subject that deals with the Biblical Meaning of Numbers to be quite fascinating and nothing more than that. Understand that we must not, make the mistake of thinking that certain numbers don't play some kind of role within the telling of the Scriptures. Now when one is able to approach this subject with the right kind of mindset and perception, Biblical Numerology, or the Biblical Meaning of Numbers, could become a very powerful Bible study tool - that could help open the door to a deeper understanding when it comes to God's Word overall.

But we must be careful when it comes to using this type of knowledge, and not make the mistake of trying to use this information when it comes to predicting future events, or anything else that will fall outside the context of the Sacred Scriptures. Keep in mind that this practice must be avoided at all cost. Remember that God has already told us through His prophets and apostles, on what's to come, and what we need to expect when it comes to this world, divine judgment, Eternal Life and death.

With that being stated, understand that I'm not suggesting that using this type of information should be mandated, either. It's your choice if you choose to explore the subject further, or not. So don't let this controversial topic become a distraction, when it comes to your pursuit of gaining a deeper understanding and greater insight when it comes to the Sacred Record. Don't get caught up in the silly debates, and arguments, which are designed to weaken your faith and keep you from the one true source that God intended for you to use -- the Holy Scriptures.

I find it very interesting that the very same Christian leaders and Bible teachers that get up and speak out against using this type of information -- would in turn, get up and say things like: "You know, the number eight signifies new beginnings" or, "The number six is the number of man" or, "Five is God's number for grace" -- so on and so forth.

I know they mean well and I have great respect for them and the office they serve in. But don't slam me because I decided to dedicate a webpage towards the subject. Understand that I believe that the Sacred Record was written by the apostles and the prophets of the One True God. I believe that these men were totally led and inspired by the Spirit of the Lord.

I also hold the viewpoint that the Sacred Scriptures alone, is the Word of God. And we must not forget that the "Message of Truth" that they tell, is pure and rich all by itself. I pray that as believers, that one day we will stop the bickering and arguing amongst each other, and just learn to enjoy the beauty, truth and the richness of God's glorious Word. And most importantly, that we're able to do it together.

"Let know one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or cast spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord, and because of these detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you." (Deuteronomy 18:10-13)

Added Christian Viewpoint: The number one is also used when marking the beginnings of things. Unity is also very common when defining this number, for it stands alone and cannot be divided.

Two : 2 - This Biblical Meaning of Number 2: comes from my understanding that it is generally linked with separation, things that are divided, or things that bring about division.

Added Christian Viewpoint: By it being the first number that can be divided, it is often look at as the fundamental number for division. The number two is attached to the term "Revelation" as well. It has also been used when referring to discord and even war. Ruin and death is also within its context.

Three : 3 - This Biblical Meaning of Number 3: comes from my understanding that it normally deals with the gaining of one's approval, viewing things within its entirety, and things that have become solid and complete.

Added Christian Viewpoint: The number three is also used when describing the Trinity or the Godhead (divine perfection). The number three has also been associated with the concepts of spirit and life.

Four : 4 - This Biblical Meaning of Number 4: comes from my understanding that it is normally associated with God's creative works or perhaps "Earth Creation" (material completeness).

Added Christian Viewpoint: The number four is always used when referring to God's creation. This number has also been used when describing the vastness of space.

Five : 5 - This Biblical Meaning of Number 5: comes from my understanding that it is generally linked with one having grace and redemption - God's grace or life that's moved by the spirit.

Added Christian Viewpoint: This number has also been used to describe freedom and completeness.

Six : 6 - This Biblical Meaning of Number 6: comes from my understanding that it is almost, always dealing with the number of man. This number is also used when referring to (human labor) or (secular completeness)

Seven : 7 - This Biblical Meaning of Number 7: comes from my understanding that it is associated with one obtaining some type of spiritual perfection, or spiritual completeness.

Nine : 9 - This Biblical Meaning of Number 9: comes from my understanding that it normally deals with judgment or the finality of things. Basically, it's used when judging man and all of his works. (Actually the 'United States Supreme Court' comes to mind when I think about this number.)

Ten : 10 - This Biblical Meaning of Number 10: comes from my understanding that it is associated with a completeness that happens in some type of divine order, or something that's completed during a course of time. There's nothing that is left wanting within the complete cycle the number "ten" has just completed.

(In today's society this number is looked at mostly when referring to some kind of ranking or describing something that's close to perfection)

Eleven : 11 - This Biblical Meaning of Number 11: comes from my understanding that it is associated with things that would be considered imperfect, a disorganization of systems, and the disorder or chaos of things.

Twelve : 12 - This Biblical Meaning of Number 12: comes from my understanding that it normally deals with placing things within perfect order or achieving governmental structural perfection.

Added Christian Viewpoint: The number twelve has also been used to describe the twelve tribes which is the major civilization foundation of God's chosen people (Jewish Nation). Plus anything that is made up of rules or laws has this number associated with it.

Thirteen : 13 - This Biblical Meaning of Number 13: comes from my understanding that it is at times associated with the rebellion of things, corruption, abandonment, defection, revolution, to break or destroy.

Fourteen : 14 - This Biblical Meaning of Number 14: comes from my understanding that it normally deals with one gaining a spiritual perfection that is doubled measured in strength or spiritual completeness that is twice over.

Fifteen : 15 - The Biblical Numerology Meaning of this number: comes from my understanding that it is normally associated with the energy that is found within the acts of divine grace.
