Man's Trust In God
Jeremiah 17:7,8 states: "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit."
Greetings my brothers and sisters, I'm bringing this bible devotion to you today, from within the name of our Lord Jesus. This week we are touching on the man who's brave enough to place his trust in the Lord. We will also be looking at the blessed benefits that are added unto those, who have decided to do the same. I'll tell you this, magnificent and amazing is the Word of God. For the Good Book tells us, that as long as we place our trust in Him, and have our hope in Him, we will be blessed. And it's because of this fact, it will continue to yield fruit in every area of our lives, regardless if were in, or out of season.
For you see, no matter how strong our storm of hardships may seem to be, trust that the Lord will always be working on a way, even if there seem to be no other way that can be found.
I'll also tell you this, world recession and the economic crunch won't destroy those, who've placed their trust in the Lord.
Now the reason why I believe this, is because your investment is in the kingdom of God and not the world.
Understand that your investment is not affected by the world's money markets and ponzi-schemes when you invest in God's kingdom.
My dear brethren, didn't you know that this is amazing news? O what a blessing it is, when it comes to being excluded from the unrest of this world? For the Word of God says: "Your leaf shall always be green" in other words, as you continue to surrender yourself over to the Lord, your endeavors, or plans will bear some good fruit. I truly believe that eventually, if you don't give up, your plans will prosper. Remember that the Word of God says: "Nothing is impossible to him that believes that goes with a total trusts in Him."
Oh what a privilege it is, to be a child of the Creator of the heavens and earth. For we can take solace in knowing that all things, do belong to Him. We as His children, were made and crafted by His hands. Nothing can compare to the work of the Lord. Priceless is what we are, when it comes to how He sees us. So my challenge to you today, stop making the mistake of trusting and leaning on the temporal things of the world. When it comes to the world's system, politicians, relatives, jobs, doctors, so on, and so forth, learn to place your trust fully in Him. God will never let us down, and He will continue to provide for us. Understand that He's called "Jehovah-Jireh" for a reason.
But when it comes to others, they can't compare to the Most High God. This is why we must not trust and follow what the world is doing. For if we were to do so, we would have set ourselves up, in such a way, that we will be disappointment in what the world is offering us. Now with this being stated, I'm going to end this Bible devotion right there. Nevertheless, I want to take this time to say, I love you all, with the love of the Lord, and may your Heavenly Father continue to be a blessing to you. Especially as you continue to read and learn about His wonderful Word. I also want to thank you for reading this Bible devotion for this week, I truly hope it was a blessing to you in some way.
