Finding Peace In The Eye of the Storm

Psalm 139:10 states: "Even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me."

Often times when people threaten to crack down, and do better, is when they are finding themselves enduring dire situations. Now these situations may include things like extreme strain, or some type of stressful circumstance. People are often encouraged to reach out to something, which can stabilize their lives. Something that will not only help them relax, but in some way or fashion, give meaning and purpose, to what seems like a dreary existence.

Who knows, maybe you have personally experienced such a situation, or a radical change from within your own life, or perhaps you were dealing with something like, emotional shock, while you were traveling down a wilderness path of despair? And because of this, perhaps, you were seeking out something that would help alleviate your stress, while in the process, improving your overall outlook of things.

Make no mistake, there's no profit, when it comes to trying to search anywhere outside of God.

Especially when it comes to being able to find a true solution to the situation you may be finding yourself in.

For you see, there's nothing in existence that meet all of your needs, except for God.

Anything outside of God, will indeed, fall short, while failing you in the process, when it comes to addressing your needs.

But when it comes to God, rest assured, He will never fail you. Take heed to what the Scripture says:

Psalms 62:5-8 states:

"My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah"

God is the only one who can successfully address your needs, as He provides some genuine relief, and peace, to your overall situation. For this is a benefit that was made available to us, through the tremendous blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Know that the peace of Christ, is available at all times, and it doesn't matter how great the strain may seem. Jesus will always be there waiting for you. For He tenderly calls you, to come to Him with your burdens. He wants us to bring forth the things that we hold near and dear from within our hearts and minds.

Understand that Jesus will bring you the peace of mind, that we've been searching for, when it comes to our day to day lives. Never forget, there's nothing in this world, that can be compared to His love. Jesus is not limited, for He can also cause the storms in your life to be still and peaceful. Be mindful, from within His presence, peace always reigns. Allow Him to hold on to your hand. He's the only One, who will lead you to still waters and green pastures. O glory to my Lord, I hope and pray, this Bible devotion has touched in some sort of way positive. Thanks for stopping by and may the blessings of the Lord be upon you.

Can I say a prayer for you?

Heavenly Father, I wish that I could do more for this visitor, and for the ongoing support that they have given to this site.

However, I'm trusting that You will be able and willing, to equip them with the things that they'll need, when it comes to them successfully climbing the mountains in their life.

Lord, give them the much needed understanding, knowledge, wisdom, strength and courage, to accomplish the things that they're setting out to do in their day to day.

In Jesus' mighty name, I pray, amen.

Are you where you want to be in life?

I'll tell you this, if you continue to place your complete trust in God, rest assured, He will not fail you.
