God Always Keep His Promises

Quite simply, it all comes down to the Bible's track record on prophecy. Throughout time and humanity, it has never been wrong in its predictions -- never! It's this track record of fulfilled prophecies that proves the Bible is of a divine authority. It's this track record of fulfilled prophecies that proves Jesus' is the true Messiah.

Staying Focused?

As we make our journey throughout the Sacred Scriptures, we must be careful, that we don't adopt the wrong kind of agenda -- when it comes to reading God's Word.

We must not give in to the notion of just reading the Bible.

But we must stay focused and watch for the things that make the Bible truly awesome, and what causes it to be set far beyond anything that our finite minds can come up with.

I find it interesting that people, say that; the Bible is outdated, when in fact -- it's quite the opposite: for the Bible has always been, and will forever be, beyond us.

Christian Beliefs

We Have the Same Thing -- Only Better?

Now I know that I told you, that we are going through the Sacred Scriptures, so we can track God's movements in the natural throughout the history of humanity. For I believe, that if we are able to get some kind of track record on how God reacted, and how He interacted throughout humanity, we can better identify how God, might be moving and reacting in our lives -- this very day.

Ironically, it's hard for people to grasp this concept, for they have completely given themselves over to the fact; that God is invisible, and that He is too big for them; to have any kind of personal relationship with. But what they don't understand is that, we are working under the same conditions that the prophets of old were working under -- but what we have, was made better through the New Covenant.

Christian Beliefs

He Did It Then -- Why Not Now?

For we must know, that the prophets were working under a promise covenant with God. And the same, is true for us as well, but only if we choose to accept, God's New Promise Covenant -- by accepting Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Redeemer. The prophets were also, working directly with the Spirit of the Lord. And so, the same holds true for us, for we have access to the gift of the Holy Spirit, if we so choose to receive Him, by simply and whole-heartily accepting Jesus Christ into our hearts and minds.

Christian Beliefs

God's Word -- Never Expires?

Understand that these great men and women of God, were operating under a promise agreement that was set forth by the Almighty. Now God, has always kept His promises, and thanks to the Sacred Scriptures, we have a record of those promises since the very days of Adam. We must understand, that Word of God never expires, as some may seem to indicate.

Some great examples that we can turn to, when it comes to God keeping His promises are:

  1. The Noahic Covenant: God's Magna Charta to the new world, in which God promised, to never destroy the world by water again. This was sealed with the sign of the rainbow.
  2. The Abrahamic Covenant: God's promise to Abraham and his seed.
  3. The Mosaic Covenant: Basically a conditional covenant that was centered around Israel obeying the Mosaic Law.
  4. The Davidic Covenant: God basically reminds David, that He will keep the promise covenant, that He made with David's forefathers. But God reassures David, that his throne will last or be established forever.

Christian Beliefs

God's Word -- Never Expires -- The Blood Covenant?

The Blood Covenant: Which is the New Covenant that God foretold through the prophet Jeremiah. Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah; came and fulfilled the law of Moses: but he didn't abolish the law; so therefore, if we are wise, we should continue to adhere to the law; but we are all saved (whether Jew or Gentile) through the blood of Jesus Christ, if we so accept Him as our personal Savior and Redeemer.

Christian Beliefs

We Are All Sons And Daughters?

"Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.

"You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek [Gentile], slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." (Galatians 3:23-29)

Christian Beliefs

God's Word -- During The Days of Adam?

I find it interesting that God's promise covenants are labeled starting from the days of Noah? Being that, if you were to recognize the Noahic Covenant, in which, was God's Magna Charta, to the new world. Then surly, you must recognize God's Magna Charta that was in place, during the days of Adam?

For humanity continued to survive after the Great Flood of Judgment, so therefore, the seed of Adam continued on. For unto Adam and Eve: Seth was born, and unto him Enosh, and unto him Kenan, and unto him Mahalalel, and unto him Jared, and unto him Enoch, and unto him Methuselah, and unto him Lamech, and unto him Noah.

Christian Beliefs

God's Word -- Prophet Enoch?

Now from out of this genealogy, I would like to zero in on one person for a moment, which is Enoch. For he walked with God for three-hundred years, before he was taken, making him one of two that never tasted physical death, the other was the prophet Elijah.

Also, judging by the way Enoch named his son Methuselah -- who name means "When he is dead it shall be sent." I find that this is a crucial point to consider, and the reason why we should consider it: is for the mere fact that after Methuselah had died -- then came the Flood of Judgment. Because of this, it is speculated that God had told the prophet Enoch about the flood beforehand, and so therefore Enoch name his child accordingly.

Christian Beliefs

God's Word -- Prophet Enoch -- The Second Coming of Christ?

God also told Enoch about the second coming of Christ: "And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him." (Jude 1:14-15)

Christian Beliefs

God's Word is Always True?

Now I'm not one to label anything, for I feel that it limits the thing or person, in which, it is placed on. Bottom line is this; The Word of God is always true -- and it never expires. The foundation of His Word; is His continual promise, and since God kept His promises during the days of the prophets of old -- He certainly will keep them now.

We must also understand, that all throughout God's Word, there is an announcement to humanity, of what's to come next. The Bible is the only Book, that's bold enough to record those predictions, and the only Book, that's able to record the fulfillment of those very same prophecies.

Christian Beliefs

A Track Record -- That Can't Be Matched?

Quite simply, it all comes down to the Bible's track record on prophecy. For we must understand, that throughout time and humanity, it has never been wrong, when it comes to its predictions -- never! It's this track record of fulfilled prophecies, that proves the Bible is of a divine authority. It's this track record of fulfilled prophecies, that proves Jesus' is the true Messiah.

Christian Beliefs

Why Follow Anything Else?

You know, it amazes me, that people will go around paying money and investing their time into following behind something or someone that doesn't have any sort of track record, or a track record that comes remotely close to what Bible provides.

People go around following and listening to: So-called Renown oracles, psychics and mediums; false leaders of world religions, or things like the Mayan Calendar; or some supercomputer that tries to predict the future. The reason why this amazes me, is for the mere fact; that none of them, can come remotely close to the track record that the Bible provides -- none of them!

Christian Beliefs

What A Track Record it Has -- Palestine?

Palestine will no longer be desolate and wasted, for it will flourish in the desert.

"Not for your sake do I do this,' says the Lord God, 'Let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel! Thus says the Lord God: 'On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will also enable you to dwell in the cities, and the ruins shall be rebuilt.

"The desolate land shall be tilled instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass by. So they will say, 'This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the wasted, desolate, and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.'" (Ezekiel 36:33-35)

Have you seen Palestine lately? It's definitely flourishing, just like the prophet Ezekiel had foretold, centuries before.

Christian Beliefs

What A Track Record it Has -- Tyre?

The great city "Tyre" will be destroyed:

"Therefore thus says the Lord God: 'Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and will cause many nations to come up against you, as the sea causes its waves to come up. And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre and break down her towers; I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her like the top of a rock. It shall be a place for spreading nets in the midst of the sea, for I have spoken,' says the Lord God; 'it shall become plunder for the nations.'" (Ezekiel 26:3-5)

This prophecy would be fulfilled hundred of years later, through the likes of great conquerors, such as, Nebuchadnezzar and Alexander the Great.

Christian Beliefs

What A Track Record it Has -- The Prediction of Four Great World Empires?

Predicting the succession of the next four great world empires, that would lead right up to the birth of Christ:

"You, O king, are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength, and glory; and wherever the children of men dwell, or the beasts of the field and the birds of the heaven, He has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all -- you are this head of gold.

"But after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours; then another, a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth. And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others.

"Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile." (Daniel 2:37-42)

Christian Beliefs

What A Track Record it Has -- Why Would You Ignore Such Accuracy?

The prophet Daniel predicted the rise of Nebuchadnezzar and the Babylon Empire which was (the head of gold.) And they fell in (539 B.C.) to, Cyrus the Great and the Medo-Persia Empire, which were (the chest and arms of sliver.) And they fell in (334-330 B.C.) to Alexander the Great who ruled Greece and Macedonia, which were (the belly and thighs of bronze.) And they finally fell in (63 B.C.) to the Rome Empire, which were (the legs of iron and feet of iron and clay.)

I don't know why people continue to ignore and rebel against the Almighty. I tell you, it's very dangerous to go against God. All I can say; is what a treasure the Word of God truly is, and I hope and pray, that many will be able to benefit from its immense value before it's too late.
