Seeing Heaven from Hell

Luke 16:19-24 states: "There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades [hell], he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

"Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.'"

You know, perhaps it wouldn't be wise for a person to wait until they could see heaven from the eternal damnation of hell, before they decide to call on the Lord.

Brothers and sisters, I'm suggesting that you don't wait until things become dreadful for you, before you make the choice, to call on the Lord.

For it's to our benefit, if we learn how to trust the Lord, by letting Him cool the waters; by letting Him usher in a peacefulness, while we endure from within the chaos, of life's test and trails.

And when it's all said and done, and your storm is finally over, I hope that you will let the Lord use your testimony, so that you too, could help to encourage and save more souls, when it comes to the kingdom of God.

Remember that we live in a dying world; and for many, our light, may be the only example of how to live for Jesus, that many people will see today. Don't hesitate when it comes to sharing the words of Jesus Christ today; tell people about all the things He has done for you; tell someone, about the goodness of God -- Amen.
