Short Inspired Devotions from the Bible

"If you are able to find satisfaction from within the One who created you. Only then, will you be able to find satisfaction from the fact, that you were indeed created, to be apart of something very wonderful."

Antonio L. Mitchell

Isaiah 45:18-19 states: "For thus says the Lord, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: 'I am the Lord, and there is no other. I have not spoken in secret, In a dark place of the earth; I did not say to the seed of Jacob, "Seek Me in vain"; I the Lord, speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.'"

Know that Abraham was already wealthy, when God called him from out of his country.

Abraham had already lived a long full life, when God had finally given him the promise of having a son. So why did Abraham still decide to follow God's instructions?

And how about Hannah? For she was already married to a man that loved her, in spite of her not being to have children at the time.

For you see, Hannah was already blessed by her husband, with a double portion of all his sacrifices. So why did she still cry out to God?

And what about that woman at the well? For she had already accepted the fact, that she was considered unclean.

For you see, the woman at the well, had already learned how to avoid the scornful eyes of the town people. So why did she still ask Christ for water?

And actually, the answer is quite simple: They were empty. They were living but they were not alive. They were longing for the presence of God.
For you see, in this world, you can be rich. In this world, you can be famous. In this world, you can also be idolized by many.

But when it comes right down to it, there's a purpose that God has created us for, and only God can reveal this purpose to us. For it such a purpose, that keeps us from living empty lives. Today I challenge you, to let God show you your purpose. And you can start, by calling on Jesus Christ. For He knows who you are, and what you stand in need of -- Amen.

Can I say a prayer for you?

Heavenly Father, I wish that I could do more for this visitor, and for the ongoing support that they have given to this site.

However, I'm trusting that You will be able and willing, to equip them with the things that they'll need, when it comes to them successfully climbing the mountains in their life.

Lord, give them the much needed understanding, knowledge, wisdom, strength and courage, to accomplish the things that they're setting out to do in their day to day.

In Jesus' mighty name, I pray, amen.

Are you where you want to be in life?

I'll tell you this, if you continue to place your complete trust in God, rest assured, He will not fail you.
