"Having little faith, will bring your soul to heaven; but having a lot of faith, will bring heaven to your soul."
Dwight L. Moody
Tienes Fe : Do You Have Faith?
Matthew 17:14-20 states: "And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down and saying: 'Lord have mercy on my son for he is epileptic and suffers severely, and falls into fire and into water, I brought him to your disciples, but they could not cure him.' And after Jesus rebuked the demon, the evil spirit came out of him, and the child was cured from that very hour. Jesus' disciples asked him, why they couldn't cast the demon out? So Jesus said this to them: 'Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain: "Move from here to there" and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.'"
And when it came to this scene, know that the disciples faith, had produced some power; and through their faith in Christ, they had seen some very good works done by their own hands.
For these were works that had caused the sick to be healed; and the blind, were made to see; while the lame, was made to walk.
However, at this point from within the ministry and lives of the disciples... Jesus wanted them to know, and to do more. For He wanted them to understand, that the intensity, and the difficulty of the fight, didn't really matter. He also wanted them to know, that the fighter from within this type of fight, must learn how to use the same weapon at all times, if they're to be successful.
And the weapon in which I speak, deals with what I like to call, the "weapon of faith." For this is a weapon, that will help one to overcome disbelief. A weapon that helps to overcome temptations; and the enemy's fiery darts. For these are not your typical darts that are made to poison you. Know my friend, these are darts that are meant, to totally destroy the foundation of faith that we have in Christ. So with that being stated, I ask you this today: "Tienes Fe?" Do you have faith? -- Amen</center>
